ALEKO puts his touch on Dom Dolla’s ‘girl$’ with new remix
Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch alum and San Diego Waterboy ALEKO provided his forward-thinking production style to Dom Dolla‘s ubiquitous house music hit “girl$,” and it’s out now on his SoundCloud. This remix is primed to invade the festival circuit this summer, and it does justice to the composition of the original while injecting it with just the right amount of trap energy.
ALEKO continues his methodical ascent of the dance music ranks behind the strength of his production prowess and high-octane live sets. He’s recently played in support of ARMNHMR at SOMA in San Diego and put out a new original single “Aura” on Boombox Cartel‘s MONTA Records. The self-proclaimed “STARCHILD” said on his Instagram that this one is “for all my Stargirls out there,” but there’s no doubt this hit transcends both gender and genre.
