Matroda’s “Gimme Some Keys” gets more than just some keys on a dance floor-facing flip that comes courtesy of AYOO. The Chicago-based production pair, who recently appeared at the 2022 iterations of Electric Forest and North Coast Music Festival, reframe the original, taking it from house clubs to festival crowds on a remix that compellingly ups the ante through resounding bass and a nimbler BPM. Peppered with crunchy hits of bass and boasting a general in-your-face attitude, AYOO’s take on “Gimme Some Keys” falls right in line with the duo’s other high-octane offerings, extending their ear-catching catalog into 2023.
