Rich Furniss settles into new role as partner of Quincy Boy Records with ‘Desire,’ alongside Morsy and Buck

After visiting LEFTI’s Quincy Boy Records in February, where the label head and Rich Furniss convened with Amazonian Rockstar for their debut collaboration, “You Made It,” Furniss is back on Quincy Boy, and he’s here to stay. Now a partner of the Brooklyn-based label, Furniss is stepping into techier territory than ever before on his first release in his new role at Quincy Boy Records, “Desire” with Morsy and Buck.

Whereas Furniss’ past singles have warmly embraced disco-house and classic house elements—traits that made him a natural fit for LEFTI’s label—“Desire” decidedly leans into more of a tech-house sound, though touches of Furniss’ danceworthy house signature can be heard throughout the single. Unsurprisingly, the vocal sample-led number is already making the rounds in the live circuit.

“The energy between Morsy, Buck and I was just natural when making ‘Desire,’ I feel like a balance of all of us are in here,” remarks Furniss. “Since starting Rich Furniss in September of 2021, I wouldn’t have envisioned things coming so far so quick or to have the support from bigger artists I love on my music. I am pumped about the future!”
