Joining forces once again with his long-time student Bleaubeard, Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch in 2024 FelMax has opened the floodgates of bass with “Shibuya,” available now for streaming on all platforms via Create Music Group. Continuing Felmax’s barrage of bass in 2024, “Shibuya” further ups the ante of Felmax’s project as the artist continues to push the envelope of bass music.

Speaking on “Shibuya” and its personal meaning to him, Felmax broke down the track, saying,

“Shibuya is hands down one of my favorite records, it’s a record I’ve re worked for the last 3-4 years. Having that Felly acapella I wanted to make something I felt was special and after going back and forth so many times I absolutely love where it’s at now. At some point I played it for Bleau in a lesson and we went in on it together and it ended up being what you hear today! Massive thank you to Mike for hopping on this one with me and to Felly for lending us his vocals!”

Bleaubeard also gave his thoughts on Shibuya and his mentorship by Felmax, saying,

“This track is my third collab with Felmax now and we just keep making banger after banger. Really proud of this one! Working with him has been nothing but fun. When I first started working with Felmax I didn’t even know how to sidechain properly. He guided me in all aspects on how to be a better artist. His methods really work as long as you put a lot of effort into it. Felmax is one of the most hardworking artists out there and one of the truly goat mentors. So, whenever he ask me to jump, I ask how high.”

“Shibuya” follows up Felmax’s first release of the year, “HATE” with JPKy and Micah Martin, and keeps up the momentum that Felmax has steadily been building. With much more in store, be sure to be on the lookout as Felmax continues to level up.
